Ishwar Sankalpa
Marga has collaborated with Iswar Sankalpa since 2021, in terms of conducting Arts Based Therapy workshops at their shelter homes of Urban Mental Health Programme, Sarbari, Marudyan and Nayagram.
It's great to hear about Marga's collaboration with Iswar Sankalpa in conducting Arts Based Therapy workshops at their shelter homes as part of the Urban Mental Health Programme. Such initiatives can have a positive impact on the well-being and mental health of the individuals they serve. Art therapy is known to be a valuable form of support for those with psychosocial disabilities, and this collaboration highlights the importance of creative approaches to mental health care.
Iswar Sankalpa is a commendable non-profit organisation with a mission to support the homeless population with psychosocial disabilities in Kolkata. They started their wholehearted initiative in 2007. Their work is essential for addressing the needs of a vulnerable and often overlooked community of our society.
Iswar Sankalpa's work does indeed align with a holistic approach, addressing the intersection of health, gender, and rights to support individuals with psychosocial disabilities in living dignified lives. This comprehensive approach is crucial for promoting the well-being and rights of this marginalised group, and it demonstrates a commitment to a broader perspective on social and healthcare issues.
